THE N17 south of Ballindine remains closed following a three-car collision between Ballindine and Milltown. 

Three people were taken to hospital following a collision occurred inside the Galway border earlier this morning, a Garda spokesman told The Mayo News. 

Traffic is being diverted away from the N17 in the south of the village towards the R328 towards Irishtown. 

Anyone with information relating to the collision can contact Tuam Garda Station on 093 708 40.
