Elaine Kennedy elected as President of Network Ireland Mayo for 2024

Elaine Kennedy, the founder and creator behind Hawthorn Skincare, has taken the helm as President of Network Ireland Mayo for 2024. 

A native of Kilkeeran, Partry, Kennedy established Hawthorn Skincare, a brand of 100% natural skincare products. 

Her journey within Network Ireland mirrors her growth as an entrepreneur. As an active member of the organisation since 2018, Kennedy has been an integral part of the branch committee since 2020. 

Kennedy says it is “an immense honour to step into the role”, 30-years on from the branch's establishment. She says that the theme for 2024 is 'Habits of Successful Women.', a theme that “resonates with the strength, resilience, and success” of the network.

Network Ireland Mayo aims to help women thrive personally and professionally by fostering a vibrant community that champions equality, entrepreneurship, and leadership.  They cultivate success and inspire progress in every member's journey through collaboration, education, and meaningful connections.

Throughout the year, the network will host a series of engaging and interactive monthly events, the first of which kicks off January 17 in Castlebar. The lunchtime workshop “The Power of Habit: Wellbeing Practices for Successful Women”, will be presented by Janine van Someren of The Wellbeing Advantage.

Kennedy invites all women, from entrepreneurs to aspiring leaders, to join the network and be part of a supportive group that encourages growth, collaboration, and empowerment.
