The Chapel Street Gospel Choir will host the event in Claremorris.
A unique night of amazing music awaits in Claremorris Town Hall Theatre on Saturday next, October 14 at 8pm as gospel music takes over the venue. Shining lights of the gospel tradition in Co Mayo, Chapel Street Gospel Choir, will host the concert in conjunction with the wonderful Mayo Concert Orchestra.
The concert will also feature house band The Sophisticats, members of the Gardiner Street Gospel Choir from Dublin and the special guests of honour, from Philadelphia, USA, will be the renowned ‘Sounds of Joy Gospel Choir’, directed by Sheila D Booker.
As producer of the night, Kathy Fahey says: “This will be an unforgettable evening of gospel music that will uplift your spirit with electrifying harmonies and boundless energy.”
