Lucky Lotto player wins €500,000 in Castlebar

IT was a very good start to the Bank Holiday weekend for one lucky punter in Castlebar who won €500,000 in Friday night’s National Lottery Daily Million draw.
The winning ticket was purchased in Newstand, Market Square, Castlebar and the ticket's lucky owner scooped the top prize of €500,000 in the Daily Million Plus draw. The lucky numbers were 15, 19, 25, 28, 32, 39 and the bonus number was seven.
So far the lucky winner has not come forward to claim their prize, so the National Lottery are advising anyone who has purchased a Daily Million ticket in Newstand, Castlebar to check their numbers as they could be the lucky winner.
Newstand Castlebar are no strangers to big Lotto winners, because they have a great track record of winning customers over the years. They are known locally as ‘The Lucky Lotto Shop’ and the shop has been inundated with customers and well-wishers to congratulate owners Helen and Michael MacHale on yet another big National Lottery win.
