Westport and Castlebar properties to be auctioned online

ONE of Westport’s best known pubs, The Jester, is part of a property portfolio to be sold at auction during December. Global online property vendors, www.bidx1.com  has announced the sale of Anchor Buildings, Bridge Street, which encompasses, the pub, Gavin’s Coffee Shop and the Curiosity (Charity) Shop.
With a guide price of €825,000, the town-centre businesses, which include 455 square metres (4,902 sq ft) have a current rent reserved at €145,309 and rent passing at €50,000.
Registration is set to open on December 7, with the bidding deposit set at €10,000. The sale will close on December 14.
The vendors are also selling offices in the Cedar House building in Moneen,  Castlebar, for a guide price of €1,150,000. The offices are currently leased by Mayo County Council, Coillte Teoranta, and Kaptec.
