WATCH An Taoiseach Enda Kenny sent out a message to Mayo fans last night
In a video message to Mayo fans ahead of this weekend’s All-Ireland final against Dublin, Taoiseach Enda Kenny spoke stirringly of ‘our county warriors’ and ‘the journey of Mayo football over the last 65 years’.
He also assured the Mayo team that when they run ‘onto that sacred pitch’, “the support from the West and around the world, will be deafening.”
The Taoiseach continued: “This team, like all those before them, have one ambition in mind: To bring the ultimate prize west of the Shannon, and end the long hunger that burns inside every man, woman and child in our county, at home and abroad.”
