A man charged with the theft of over €3,000 from a bookmakers in Castlebar has been remanded in custody
A man charged with the theft of over €3,000 from a bookmaker’s in Castlebar has been remanded in custody.
Kevin Noonan of no fixed abode, but formerly with addresses in Castlebar and Limerick, appeared before Galway District Court yesterday (Monday) morning charged with the theft at Ladbrokes on Castle Street, Castlebar.
The incident took place at 9.10pm on Saturday night last. There was one staff member on duty. Noonan was apprehended in Castlebar town that same night.
At yesterday’s sitting in Galway, Noonan was remanded in custody to appear before Harristown District Court (adjacent to Castlerea Prison) this Friday.
