TODAY FM DJ Louise Duffy and Kerry footballer and fashion designer Paul Galvin wed in a  New Year’s Eve ceremony in Louise’s native Crossmolina.
The couple, who got engaged last March in New York after dating for three years, were joined by 200 of their nearest and dearest at St Tiernan’s Church in Crossmolina and at a fairytale reception at Belleek Castle in nearby Ballina.
Louise stunned in a white lace gown designed by Irish designer Kathy de Stafford. Sticking to her promise of remaining traditional, the gown boasted embroidered sleeves and complemented the traditional gown with a simple fresh makeup look paired with an old Hollywood style relaxed hairstyle and a red lip.
Fashion designer and All-Ireland winning footballer Paul sported a tailored three-piece black suit from his own Dunnes Stores Vanguard clothing range, giving a modern twist to the entire look.
The weather wasn’t the nicest for a white wedding but guests travelled from near and far and  included Kerry senior football manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice. Some of Louise’s Today FM colleagues made the trip to the north Mayo village and subsequently partied the night away at the plush Belleek Castle where they rang in the New Year.
Taking to her instagram account the day after the nuptials, Louise posted a holiday snap of the two with the caption ‘My boy’.
Posting another instagram picture on Sunday, of the couple sharing a moment on their special day, as guests looked on, Louise wrote “Thank you so much for the beautiful messages over the past few days. I’m pretty chuffed with my new husband.”
