A LOUISBURGH man living in the Boston region died over the weekend after he fell from a factory roof which he was inspecting for a work job.
SeΡn Corrigan (42) originally from Shrawee, Louisburgh died on Sunday afternoon after it was believed he slipped from a factor roof he was inspecting in order to start a job on Monday morning.
The full details of the incident are not known but it is understood that he fell through a skylight on the building and died on his way to hospital.
Mr Corrigan was married with three young children and had been living and working in construction in the Boston region of the United States for approximately five years. A US citizen, he had been previously living in Ireland prior to moving to the United States where two of his brothers are also living and working.
He was one of 15 children born to Peggy and the late Michael Corrigan who died 21 years ago and are a well respected family in the Louisburgh area.
A member of the Louisburgh community close to the family said there was shock in the community when news of SeΡn’s death filtered through on Sunday evening.
