Jedward to appear at new HMV Xtra-vision store
A new dual branded Xtra-vision HMV store will be officially opened in Castlebar next Saturday.
The 4,000 square foot store will be located at Hopkins House on the Hopkins Road in Castlebar, directly across from the entrance to the Tesco car park.
Pop stars Jedward will be arriving at the store at 1pm this Saturday to meet and greet fans.
Xtra-vision HMV will be marking the day with a range of what they call ‘Door Bustin’ Deals’ for one day only. A range of music, film, gaming and technology products will be on offer for the day.
Some of the deals include: a selection of new CD releases for €9.99, including Garth Brooks (Greatest Hits), The Script (No Sound Without Silence), Ed Sheeran (X), Sam Smyth (In The Lonely Hour), and George Ezra (Wanted On Voyage); Sony Blu-Ray players at €9.99; €100 off Xbox consoles; three movies for €10 from a select range; 15 per cent off Select iFrogz audio products.
This announcement brings the total number of dual branded Xtra-vision HMV stores in Ireland to 47, as well as nine stand-alone HMV stores and a further 40 Xtra-vision stores around the country. It will be a welcome relief to staff after a turbulent year for both brands.
Larry Howard, CEO of Hilco Capital Ireland said: “We’re delighted to open this new dual branded Xtra-vision HMV store in Castlebar, and look forward to offering the widest range of movies, music and games to customers. It’s been a fantastic year for HMV and Xtra-vision, topped off with the opening of the new store in Castlebar.”
