The band won €8,000 after winning the competition which was held at The Sugar Club in Dublin and was broadcast live on Today FM last Friday. Flat Out beat off stiff competition with over 1,000 entries vying for first prize.
The competition was judged by Royseven’s Paul Walsh, singer songwriter Roisin O and Le Crunch’s Claire Colman.
Flat Out performed the song ‘Pumped Up Kicks’ by ‘Foster The People’ at a packed Sugar Club.
Speaking after the final, Claire Colman from Le Crunch said the judges were pleasantly surprised by the ‘amazing quality of entries’.
“On behalf of Le Crunch, the judges and Today FM, I’d like to congratulate Flat Out and wish them all the best for the future.
