Gardaí appeal after church break-ins and caravan theft

A 15 foot caravan was stolen in the Ballyhaunis area between Sunday night and Monday morning. The towable caravan was taken from a site on the Claremorris road before the junction with the Holy Well Road after a gate was removed at the entrance to the site.
The white caravan had the word Sterckman along the front and the word Romance on the side. It has a large window across the front and another large window across the back.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who saw suspicious activities in the area to contact Swinford Garda Station on 094 92 51115.
Meanwhile, Ballina Gardaí are appealing to the public for assistance as they investigate three break-ins at three churches in the area overnight. It has not been established what was taken from the churches or what damage was caused.
Gardaí are investigating all three incidents, and are appealing to anyone in these areas who may have noticed any suspicious activity in recent days, to contact them in Ballina at 096 21422
