Farmingdale, New York will host the next Ryder Cup in 2025 before the prestigious golf event will be held in Limerick's Adare Manor in 2027.
2006 was the last time the Ryder Cup was held on Irish soil when Europe eased to an 18 1/2 to 9 1/2 victory over the USA in Kildare's K Club.
