This weekend will see Andy Moran's Mayo men aim to get their Connacht Championship campaign off to an ideal start when they travel across the Irish Sea to take on London.

For the Mayo diaspora in the English capital, the quarter-final pairing will be a chance to see their heroes a bit closer to home.

As always, we'll be on hand to give you on-the-button analysis here, as well as comprehensive coverage in Tuesday's edition of The Mayo News.

Where and when is the game?

The Connacht Senior Football Championship quarter-final game between London and Mayo takes place in McGovern Park, Ruislip, on Saturday, April 11, at 2.30 pm.

Is the game on TV?

The game will be streamed live by GAA+. Access to the stream is priced at €15.

You can purchase the broadcast by clicking here.

Can I get tickets?

Tickets for the game have sold out. However, you will be able to keep an eye on all the action here.

What happened the last time these two sides met?

History in the wrong ways was the order of the day in the 2024 FBD League, when the Exiles dumped Mayo out in the Air Dome.

Prior to that, though, a handsome Connacht Championship win was served in Ruislip for the Green and Red in 2016.

Who is refereeing the game?

Roscommon referee Paddy Neilan has been selected to referee this one.

The St Faithleach's man was the whistler for the 2022 All-Ireland semi-final between Dublin and Kerry, as well as the 2025 All-Ireland Club Championship final.

He was also the man in the middle for the 2025 Connacht final between Mayo and Galway.
