4:41 pm: Both teams had one big goal chance but failed to hit the net and raise a green flag. Westport took 13 minutes to get onto the scoreboard. Westport's Lee Keegan and Ballina's Padraig O'Hora had to come off due to injury. Westport clawed their way back into the game and are only four points down here at half-time.

21.min: Evan Regan isn't even fully balanced and hits an excellent two-pointer from open play. Eight point lead for Ballina.
20.min: This time Colm Moran has the ball and pulls the trigger but it's wide again for Westport.
18.min: Westport needed that score. Tunney has space on the left hand side, but his strike curls wide.
16.min: This is a blow for bith teams, but possibly the bigger one for Westport.
15.min: Joe Grady replaces Lee Keegan for Westport and Cian Treacy comes on for Padraig O'Hora for Ballina.
13min: Padraig O'Hora and Lee Keegan are down and both need some treatment after a collision during Keegan's score. There's a stretcher car coming onto the pitch but both players refuse to be stretchered off. They're both helped by members from the backroom team.
