Users' verdict on Mayo GAA decision to call off all matches due to Storm Amy

Mayo GAA decided Friday lunchtime to cancel all matches planned for the weekend

Last Friday, Storm Amy breezed over Mayo and large parts of the country. Mayo GAA decided to call off all matches planned for this weekend.

We asked you, the supporters: Was it a good decision to call them off? Yes or No?

The poll has closed and here is the result:

A share of 5.5 per cent of users said they 'don't know' whether Mayo GAA were right to cancel all matches for the weekend.

30 per cent were of the opinion, that Mayo GAA were NOT right to take that action.

And a large majority of 64 per cent said, YES, Mayo GAA made the right decision to call off all matches planned for the weekend.
