The final furlongs of the Mayo Club Championships are set to bring a sense of heightened drama like no other.
With just two more rounds to play across four competitions, 16 teams stand tantalisingly close to the ultimate glory of being crowned county champions. Now, those bands of brothers know where and when they could potentially be raising the trophy aloft.
We'll start with the intermediate and senior races.
Kilmeena, Kiltane, Ardnaree Sarsfields, and Moy Davitts are all vying to head home with the Sweeney Cup. The decider for the lucky pair will be played in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park on Saturday, October 18.
The next day, Mayo GAA HQ will also be the scene of an almighty tussle, this time for the Moclair Cup. Throw-in time for the senior final has not been confirmed, much like the Intermediate one.
The weekend of October 25/26, the Junior and Junior 'B' deciders will take centre stage. Both will also be in MacHale Park. However, the day that each final will take place hasn't yet been confirmed.
