Lee Keegan has revealed who he wants managing the Mayo footballers next year.
Westport native Keegan has had plenty of experience in Mayo dressing rooms over the years, having worked under the tutelage of a raft of different faces during his highly-regarded tenure with the Green and Red.

When speaking on TalkSport’s ‘Beyond the 45’ podcast, the five-time All-Star defender backed one of the men he toiled the field with during the last decade, to succeed Kevin McStay.
“I think Andy Moran would be a nice fit,” Keegan surmised, and he hasn't shied away from saying that before.
"I think lads know him, they respect him. And even listening to the Monaghan group this year, in particular, he has an energy. That kind of affection and emotion towards players, that's hard to replicate sometimes.
“I think Andy is very emotionally attached to the players, and he gets the best of them. So for me, he'd be a great candidate.”
On the show, with Tyrone icon Owen ‘Mugsy’ Mulligan, he also gave his views on the furore surrounding the departure of Kevin McStay.
“Just the way it was handled, I think it was very disrespectful,” said Keegan.
“It also lacked a lot of class. Look at Antrim, right? Not the biggest football county, but they had enough dignity to say, ‘Andy McEntee, thanks a million. Great job.’
“I said, Kevin's time was probably up, but it's just the way we handled it was just so, so poorly.”
