Potential applicants for the role of Mayo GAA senior football manager have only minutes to submit their application to the County Board.
On Sunday, July 6, a request for applications was sent out to GAA clubs. The deadline for applications is today, Wednesday, July 23, at midday.

Following the deadline, an application form will be sent out to all candidates, on which they must include three selectors on their ticket.
The Mayo GAA Executive remain optimistic that, barring any complications, the new man in the dugout will be in place before Friday, August 23, the commencement of Round Two of the Club Football Championship.
The Executive have also indicated that, bar any conflict of interest, the Management Appointment Committee has been put in place.
The MAC includes the County Board Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Coaching Officer, at least two other County Board members, and at least one external representative, with one of those external representatives having a background in HR.
