Paddy Durcan’s imperious performance for Mayo in their All-Ireland Championship win over Tyrone last Saturday has seen him amongst the nominees for the GAA.ie Team of the Week,
Durcan was totemic in his return to the starting XV for the Green and Red as they made it a memorable away day for the travelling Mayo faithful, marshalling the rearguard as well as making vital contributions on the scoreboard in a must-win tie.

His 0-3 tally coupled with his in-game intelligence on the Omagh turf has seen him gain rave reviews from both fans and pundits, as well as a deserved nomination for the Player of the Week accolade.
