Three Mayo GAA club sides will be heading east this weekend in hot pursuit of national glory, as the Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta reaches its conclusion.
Over the course of the Bank Holiday weekend, Belmullet’s men’s and women’s gaelic football teams, as well as the Cill Chomáin men, will make the journey to Rath Cairn, Meath, in a bid to bring secure national glory in their respective competitions.

Belmullet are one of the sides trying to secure the Senior Men’s title. They will be going up against one of Donegal side Termon, or Galway’s Naomh Anna Leitir Móir in their opening game.
In the Men’s Junior grade, Cill Chomáin will go toe-to-toe with Waterford side An Seanphobal, with the winners advancing to face Donegal's Saint Nauls or Kerry side Lios Póil.
Belmullet will also contest the Women’s Junior competition. They have received a bye to the last-four of the competition, where they will square off against either Fanad Gaels of Donegal or Gráinne Mhaol from Galway.
TG4 will be showing both men’s senior semi-finals, as well as the junior and senior finals on television, with games also being streamed on the TG4 Player.
