Mayo hurler Shane Boland has been crowned the GAA.ie Player of the Week.
Boland was a key cog in the Mayo machine as they ended London’s unbeaten 2025 run in the Division 3 League final.

The Tooreen sharpshooter scored 0-7 in his side’s 0-14 to 1-8 victory on Sunday and received over 40 per cent of the votes from the public on the GAA’s Instagram page for his efforts.
Boland received 1,648 of the 4,059 votes, placing him ahead of Eoghan Sands from Down and Louth’s Darragh Geoghegan.
He was also named in the GAA.ie Hurling Team of the Week, alongside fellow Mayo men Kieran McDermott and David Kenny.
