Mayo forward Shane Boland has seen his spellbinding attacking display in their National League final win over London rewarded with a nomination for the GAA.ie Hurling Player of the Week.
The Tooreen virtuoso was in fine form on Saturday in Hawkfield and made hay with a six-point tally against an unbeaten London side prior to the decider.

As a result, Boland is now up for player of the week, as well as securing a spot in the GAA.ie Team of the Week alongside teammates David Kenny and Kieran McDermott.
Kenny and McDermott produced rock-solid defensive displays to keep a previously free-scoring London forward line at arm’s length.
Having won the Division 3 decider, Mayo have the visit of Roscommon just around the corner in the Nicky Rackard Cup opener.
