Mayo LGFA are offering a unique prize to anyone who purchases a ticket to their do-or-die clash with Kerry on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts are in big need of a win and are looking to gather a big crowd for the visit of All-Ireland champions Kerry to Swinford.

In order to pique the interest in the county, the County Board are entering everyone who passes through the gates of the ground into a draw for an overnight stay for two at the Diamond Coast Hotel in Enniscrone.

The winners will also receive a dinner for two at the hotel’s Coral Restaurant, as well as a private twin seaweed bath and steam batch at Kilcullen’s Seaweed Baths.

Mayo are coming off the back of a 2-14 to 1-10 loss to Armagh in the Athletic Grounds last Saturday. However, those in attendance saw some improvement in the second half and will be hoping they can make a fist of it against the Brendan Martin Cup holders.

Mayo LGFA Chairperson Sinéad Stagg is hoping that the incentive can serve as a rallying call for the supporters to row in behind the side as they gun for their first victory in the 2025 season.

“This team gives everything for their county,” she stated. “Now it’s time for us to show up and stand behind them when they need us.”

Mayo versus Kerry throws in at the Swinford Amenity Park at 2 pm on Sunday, March 2.
