AS Mayo Ladies go in search of three badly-needed points, team manager Liam McHale has made changes to his team for Sunday's National Football League Division 1 clash with Tyrone in Swinford Amenity Park.

Both sides have had disappointing starts to the campaign and go into Sunday's game on the back of two defeats, therefore the result is critical if Mayo are to have any hope of avoiding a relegation dogfight.

McHale's side lost to Dublin in the opening round in Parnell Park and were defeated by Meath in Navan last Monday, so the Green and Red are looking forward to their first contest on home soil this season. Tyrone have struggled in the early rounds since being promoted from Division 2 last season and anything other than a home win will be a surprise.

Mayo are hoping a large crowd turns up on Sunday and have been promoting the game all week.

The Mayo selectors have made three changes to the starting team with Charlie Reilly Benson replacing Roisin Dyar in goal, and Niamh Mooney and Ciara Whyte named to start in place of Saoirse Delaney and Bree Hession.

MAYO: Charlie Reilly Benson; Ella Brennan, Saoirse Lally, Danielle Caldwell; Niamh Mooney, Sharin El Massry, Hannah Reape; Erin Murray, Aoife Geraghty; Lucy Wallace, Annie Gough, Ciara Durkin; Maria Cannon, Sinead Walsh, Ciara Whyte.

The match in Swinford Amenity Park throws in at 2pm.
