MAYO LGFA are offering luxury hotel experience and match tickets as a prize for one lucky supporter this weekend.
All those who purchase an adult match ticket to the Mayo ladies league clash with Tyrone will be entered into a draw for an overnight stay for two at the Four Seasons Hotel & Leisure Club, Monaghan along with tickets to the Mayo v Armagh GAA & LGFA double-header at The Athletics Grounds, Armagh, on Saturday, February 22.
Mayo LGFA are calling for a ‘record-breaking crowd’ to travel to Swinford this Sunday, where the Mayo ladies will take on Tyrone in their third league game of the year.
“Mayo LGFA is determined to generate record-breaking support in Swinford and highlight the growing profile of women’s football in the county,” the Mayo LGFA county board said in a statement.
“The Mayo Senior Ladies team continues to train and compete at the highest level, yet attendance at National League games remains significantly lower than that of their male counterparts.
“The team hopes that by offering this exciting prize, more fans will turn out in numbers to show their support for the players and recognize their dedication to the game.”
To be in with a chance of winning, supporters must purchase their adult ticket for Mayo vs. Tyrone before midnight on Saturday, February 8.
The winner will be announced live on Midwest Radio during the match-day broadcast from Swinford Amenity Park.
Mayo are still without a win in this year’s Division 1 league campaign following defeats to Meath and Dublin.
