Castlebar Mitchels and Aghamore ladies to face Sligo opponents in Connacht championships

Castlebar Mitchels and Aghamore ladies to face Sligo opponents in Connacht championships

CASTLEBAR Mitchels and Aghamore will face the Sligo champions in the semi-finals of their respective provincial club competitions this weekend. 

Mayo intermediate champions Castlebar, who enjoyed an impressive win over Louisburgh in the county final, will go to battle with Drumcliffe/Rosses Point on Sunday, October 20, at 1pm at a yet-to-be-confirmed venue. 

Aghamore, who defeated St Brigids in their final, will face Sligo junior champions Coolera/Strandhill in Aghamore at 1pm on Saturday, October 19.

Mayo senior champions Westport will face the Sligo champions the following weekend as St Nathy’s and Eoghan Rua are due to contest the final this weekend.
