CASTLEBAR Mitchels and Westport are set to battle it out in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park in the Division 1 league final.

Mayo GAA have announced that the two senior heavyweights will once again contest the Division 1 decider in the home of Mayo football on Saturday, August 3, at 6.30 pm.

The two teams played out a thrilling contest in last year’s final, which had to be decided by extra-time before ‘Mitchels  came out on top.

Elsewhere in Division 1, Aghamore and Breaffy will contest a relegation play-off in Aghamore at 7.30pm on Friday, August 2 with Charlestown Sarsfields meeting Kiltane in the other play-off on Saturday August 3 in Charlestown at 6pm.

North Mayo sides Crossmolina and Ardnaree Sarsfields will battle it out in Ballina in the Division 2 final on Sunday, August 4, at 3pm in Ballina.

The promotion play-off sees Burrishoole and Louisburgh lock horns in a Clew Bay derby in Newport at 6pm on Saturday August 3, while Hollymount/Carramore will enjoy home advantage against Islandeady at the same time and date.

Lahardane will host Achill in the relegation semi-finals, where Ardagh and Bunniconlon will also meet at a yet-to-be-confirmed venue.

Eastern Gaels and Breaffy B will contest the Division 3 decider in Charlestown at 1pm on Sunday, August 4. The respective promotion play-offs will see Westport B host Claremorris B and Parke B host Kilmovee Shamrock - also on Sunday, August 4 at 1pm.

Kilmeena B and Balla B will meet in the Division 3 relegation final on Friday, August 2 in Kilmeena at 7.30pm.

The Division 4 final will be contested by Ballinrobe B and Kilmaine B on Sunday, August 4, in Hollymount at 1pm.
