Lita Victoria Davis-Maloney passed away on Wednesday
Tributes have poured in following the sad death of beloved young mother Lita Victoria Davis-Maloney, late of Stonehall, Foxford and formerly of Farganstown, Navan, Co Meath, who passed away peacefully in the gentle care of the staff of The Mayo Hospice on Wednesday.
Lita, predeceased by her father Gordon, will be dearly loved and forever missed by her husband Hugh (Hughie) and her cherished and adored children Amelia, Juliette and Hugo, her heartbroken mother Ada, her sisters Julie and Joy and her brothers Glen and Alan, her mother in-law Margaret, her sisters in-law, brothers in-law, her uncle and aunts Robert Hughes, Helen Oram and Elizabeth Hudson, her nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Heartfelt condolences have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Lita, with one mourner writing,
"We are so sorry for the loss of lovely Lita, lita’s presence brought Joy and light to every occasion our thoughts are with you all at difficult time xx."
Another wrote: "Sincere sympathy to you all, both the Maloney & Davis families on the loss of a beautiful wife, Mum, daughter, sister and friend. I met Lita in Annemarie's house a couple of years ago and we went to the Corona's concert in Sligo. A beautiful lady taken far too soon. Lita is now at rest and I hope you all take comfort from the love and care you gave to her. She will send the strength to get through the difficult times ahead."
While another wrote: "I am so sorry and shocked to hear this news. I have lovely memories of my friend Lita. My condolences and sincere sympathy to all her family, her mum and brothers and sisters, husband and her children. Lita was a kind, considerate, beautiful, fun, vibe rant person, I will remember and miss her."
Funeral arrangements
Lita will repose at her residence in Stonehall, Foxford (F26 VP08) on Friday, June 14, from 4pm until 8pm.
Removal from her residence on Saturday, June 15, at 1.30pm to Foxford Church of Ireland for Funeral Service at 2pm with the Funeral proceeding to Craggagh Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
