Mayo Gaelscoil set to launch five-year development plan

Coláiste Mhuire in Thuar Mhic Éadaigh, is set to launch their five-year development plan in the Castlecourt Hotel, Westport, this Sunday, February 1.

Speaking to The Mayo News, acting principal of Coláiste Mhuire, Cristín Ní Éanacháin, explained the stages of the five-year plan, leading up to the centenary in 2031.

“We have five main stages to the plan, which includes improving the digital hub and technology, the development of outdoor space for sporting activities, improving buildings' energy efficiency, as well as improving our communal space.”

The school also hopes to raise some funds on the night while also bringing past pupils together.

"We're blessed to have fantastic staff and a brilliant committee that are all very much behind us,” she added.
