As Storm Amy is picking up, with an orange wind warning in place from 2-10pm, some Mayo mass goers are missing out tonight.
Knock Shrine posted on Facebook: "Due to the orange weather warning issued for tomorrow afternoon and evening, we regret to advise that the monthly vigil scheduled to take place (tonight) has been cancelled."
The walkways around the Shrine, including the Creation Walk, which are regularly used by locals and visitors alike, have also been closed.
The general area around the Basilica also saw many trees down by the gusts of Storm Eowyn in January.
