Knock Airport in Mayo have announced changes to the summer season, regarding the parking situation.

Ahead of the summer season, the Ireland West Airport car park team have been busy getting ready for increased passenger numbers.

Topline Markings Ltd have completed upgrades to the lines and markings around the airport car parks and passenger walkways in time for the start of the summer schedule this week. 

Extra spaces for passengers with reduced mobility have been added in both car park zones next to the terminal.

The airport has advice for passengers on its social media account: "If you're travelling from the airport this summer, get the best available car parking rates when you prebook online on our website here."
