Claremorris will be rounding off their St Patrick’s Day Parade in rousing style with the ‘Hooley in the Hall’.

The event, which opens its doors on Sunday, March 16 at 7.30 pm, will hope to draw major crowds both from Claremorris and further afield, for an evening of traditional dance and music.

The event aims to build on the festivities of the Parade at 3 pm and officially gets going at 8.30 pm after the town’s fireworks display.

The co-chairman of the Claremorris St Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, Jarlath Sweeney, believes that this will be an entertaining night for all who attend.

"We are grateful for the participation of the local traditional music talent that will be performing on stage and it’s the next phase of our ongoing fundraising efforts to establish the new Community Sports & Recreational Centre for the town and surrounding areas,” he stated.
