There was plenty of celebrations again this week at National Lottery Headquarters. Across the week, players travelled from all over Ireland including County Mayo to collect prizes won across EuroMillions, Lotto and Telly Bingo.
A Mayo Syndicate were delighted to make the trip to Dublin to collect their €375,000 prize which they won on Saturday, March 28 in the Six Number game of Lotto 54321 in the Lotto Plus 2 draw. Their winning ticket was purchased at Centra, Station Road, Castlebar, Co Mayo.
One member of the lucky syndicate said: “To be honest, I kept extremely calm when I checked the ticket. The first thing I did was put the ticket in an envelope and hid it immediately after finding out the results that Saturday night. The rest of the syndicate weren’t as calm though and were completely shocked when I announced the news, they didn’t know what to expect!”
Meanwhile, a EuroDreams player in Portugal is certain to be celebrating today after scooping the Tier 1 prize of €30,000 per month for 30 years in last night’s (Thursday, April 9) draw. The EuroDreams top prize is typically worth €20,000 per month for 30 years but the top prize has been boosted since Thursday, October 2. As the special prize has been won, the top prize will now revert back to €20,000 per month for 30 years.
