The ESB Power Check site shows a significant power outage in Castlebar.
Over 10,000 Mayo homes and businesses have been hit with a power outage today (Sunday, February 1).
The outage, which took effect at circa 1 pm this afternoon, is primarily affecting those in Castlebar.

The ESB have assured those who are in the area that they are working to repair a fault, and will restore power as quickly as possible.
The ESB Power-Check site is displaying an estimated restoration time of 1.45 pm.
