Michelle Kilcoyne has been named the winner of the TF Royal Theatre’s coveted Golden Ticket for 2026, securing two tickets to every show staged at the Castlebar venue throughout the year — a prize valued at more than €12,000.

The Golden Ticket grants Kilcoyne and a guest access to more than 150 live events in 2026, spanning music, comedy, family shows and podcasts, and featuring performers from across Ireland as well as internationally renowned acts. The prize also guarantees entry to sold-out performances by simply presenting the Golden Ticket at the venue.

Speaking after receiving the news, Kilcoyne said she was thrilled by the win: “I honestly can’t believe I won — it’s just amazing! I’ve always loved everything that happens at the TF Royal Theatre, and to have the chance to see every show in 2026 with someone special is just unbelievable. I’m so grateful to everyone who made this possible. This is going to be a year to remember."

Fiona Coyne, marketing manager at the TF Royal Theatre, congratulated the winner and highlighted the significance of the annual competition.

“We’re absolutely thrilled for Michelle. The Golden Ticket is one of the most exciting competitions we run here. Giving someone the opportunity to enjoy every show in a year is not only a huge prize, but a celebration of the fantastic entertainment we bring to Castlebar. Michelle’s enthusiasm reflects exactly the joy this competition is all about,” she said.

With its diverse line-up of music, comedy, theatre, dance, podcasts, and family shows, the TF Royal Theatre continues to be a cornerstone of live entertainment in the west of Ireland, presenting everything from music and comedy to theatre, dance, podcasts, and family shows, making Michelle Kilcoyne’s Golden Ticket win all the more exciting.
