The Whistlin' Donkeys set to headline charity event in West Mayo

The Whistlin' Donkeys are a popular band who have played on various stages right across the world.

Get ready for a night to remember as the high-energy, crowd-favourite The Whistlin’ Donkeys take to the stage at the Castlecourt Hotel, Westport, on Friday, November 1 for a massive charity concert in aid of The Family Centre, Castlebar.

With support on the night from local rising stars Kojak, this is set to be one of the standout music events of the year in the west all for an incredible cause.

The Family Centre, while rooted in Castlebar, provides a lifeline of professional counselling and psychotherapy, education and training programmes, Flourish Social Prescribing and Mayo Suicide Bereavement Liaison Service, Support Groups and more.

These support services are available to individuals, couples, and families across Mayo plus the bordering towns and villages of Roscommon, Sligo, and Galway. The funds raised from this event will help sustain and expand these vital services at a time when the need has never been greater.

“This night is about more than just great music,” said Máire Ní Dhomhnaill, Director of The Family Centre. “It’s about community, coming together to support one another, to create awareness and to ensure no one feels alone when life becomes overwhelming. We are so grateful to everyone who supports this fundraising event and those involved who made it possible.

Tickets are expected to sell fast and are available now via Eventbrite for just €28 excluding booking fee. Don’t miss your chance to enjoy a night of unforgettable live music, electric atmosphere, and heartwarming community spirit all in support of an organisation that changes lives every day.
