Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar.
Following the success of last year’s sold-out theatre nights in Linenhall Arts Centre, the Castlebar Musical and Dramatic Society returns this October 16 and 17 at 8 pm. Ken Armstrong’s ‘A Sort of Whodunnit?’ and ‘The Doubles Partner.’ will take to the stage for this year’s comedy show.
Winner of the Claremorris Fringe Festival, ‘The Doubles Partner’, is a story based around a husband who invites his new mixed doubles partner to his house without telling his wife. ‘A Sort of Whodunnit?’ will premiere for the first time at the upcoming event. In the play, three strangers conspire to try to make their dreams come true. All does not go to plan.
An architect by profession, originally from Sligo but now living in Castlebar, Ken Armstrong has had eight radio plays produced, has written eighteen produced theatre plays and has made a number of award-winning short films which have been seen at multiple film festivals.
Tickets are €20 and be purchased on www.thelinenhall.com or by calling 094 9023733.
