UPDATE: Numbers for patients on trolleys for Mayo University Hospital released

Number of on trolleys in Mayo University Hospital in July revealed

News trolley figures for Mayo University Hospital have been released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO).

Currently in the Castlebar hospital, there are 18 patients on trolleys. 13 of them in the Emergency Department and four elsewhere.

Compared to June, the grand total numbers in the whole country have increased.

There were 7,989 patients on trolleys in June, whereas this figure has risen to 8,453 in July.
