Mayo County Council have confirmed that a route in Castlebar is set to close for the coming weeks.
In a statement, the Council announced that the L57211, also known locally as Brooklands Close, will close between the hours of 8.30 am and 5.30 pm daily in order to allow roadworks.
The closure started this morning (Monday, June 23) and will run until Friday, July 11.
Access is prohibited, with local access only allowed, and emergency vehicles will be accommodated if required.
