Cresham, who serves as President of the Mayo Boxing Board, will be honoured alongside volunteers from every county in Ireland.
Cresham is a familiar face in boxing and sporting circles in the county. He has been in the corner, mentoring multiple boxers in the region to national titles, as well as organising events and refereeing.
Anyone who has dedicated themselves to amateur sports will resonate with Myles’ story. The club has been going since the early 1900s, and he has played a significant part in keeping the flag flying.

Whether it be fundraising, coaching, and organising, the award is a testament to his efforts.
The efforts of Cresham and those who give their evening and weekends up and down the country were lauded by Úna May, the CEO of Sport Ireland.
“Volunteers are the lifeblood of Irish sport, driving participation across all disciplines,” she said.
They don't merely contribute – they transform aspirations into achievements, making sport accessible and enjoyable for all. We all owe them a debt of gratitude and we’re happy to play our part in recognising their dedication.”
