Delays expected as end date confirmed for Mayo roadworks

The R-319 at Owenduff is undergoing road works, according to Mayo County Council

Mayo County Council have advised motorists in the west of the county to expect delays as drainage works on a local road get underway.

The works to improve route conditions commenced today (Tuesday, February 3) on the R-319 at Owenduff.

The drainage work is expected to conclude at the end of the week, on Friday, February 6.

Traffic controls will be in place for the duration of the works, while commuters are advised to allow extra time on their travels.

Funded by the Local Democracy Reporting Scheme.
