New visitor attraction to complement the hotel’s existing facilities in Belmullet

Popular Mayo hotel granted permission for development

Mayo County Council received the application on August 28, 2025 and have granted planning permission.

The Broadhaven Hotel, Belmullet, has been granted permission to begin development work.

The work will consist of the construction of a traditional thatched cottage visitor attraction centre and associated site development works on the grounds of the hotel.
