Uisce Éireann has said that repairs are expected to be completed by approximately 4pm today. Typically, it takes two to three hours following repairs for normal supply to be restored to all customers affected by an unplanned outage.
Uisce Éireann has said it may take longer for normal supply to be restored to customers at the end of the network or on higher ground as the system recharges.
Traffic management will be in place while works are underway and will be clearly signposted.
