All-Ireland Senior Céilí Band champions, Glór na dTonn Céilí Band, are set to host a fundraising concert in Ballina next month in support of the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation.

The concert will take place at 8pm on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Great National Hotel, Ballina, with all proceeds going to the Hospice Charity. The band will be joined by the Bofield Céilí Band,

Glór na dTonn secured the All-Ireland Senior Céilí Band title at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2025, which was held in Wexford in early August. The win brought one of the most prestigious honours in traditional Irish music to Mayo and the Connaught region.

The group, made up of young musicians and singers, was also recently honoured with a Mayo People of the Year Award in recognition of its contribution to the county’s cultural and musical life.

The Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation provides specialist palliative care services to people with life-limiting illnesses and supports their families across both counties.

The band has dedicated the fundraising concert to the memory of Paul and Linda Judge.

Tickets cost €25 and are available through the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation website or via the QR code on the event poster.
