Managing Director Hugh Rouse said the decision was about preparing the business for the future while staying firmly in Ballina.
Rouse Insurance Brokers has announced it has relocated its offices to Ballina iQ from January 5.
Ballina IQ is an €8 million innovation and business hub developed within the town’s historic military barracks, designed to support enterprise, attract investment, and drive economic growth in North Mayo. The business hub was officially opened in late 2024.
Speaking on the move, Managing Director Hugh Rouse said the decision was about preparing the business for the future while staying firmly in Ballina.

“This move is about making sure we’re set up properly for the next stage of the business, while staying firmly rooted in Ballina.
“We work with families, businesses, community groups, and volunteers across the town and beyond, and Ballina iQ gives us a modern base that supports how people want to engage today, whether that’s in person, over the phone, or online,” he said.
Rouse Insurance has served the Ballina area and wider Mayo region for decades and will continue to offer the same service.
“Being based in Ballina has always mattered to us,” Hugh added.
“Ballina iQ allows us to support how the town is growing, while also investing in better systems, clearer communication, and improved service for our clients.”
All existing contact details for Rouse Insurance will remain unchanged following the move.
