Philip Griffith from Claremorris AC won three medals at last weekend's National Uneven Age Cross Country Championships
He is one of Mayo's outstanding athletics talents.
Philip Griffith of Claremorris Athletics Club delivered a standout performance at the National Uneven Age Cross Country Championships last weekend, securing a silver medal in the Boys U-13 race.
In addition to his individual success, Philip played a pivotal role for his provincial and county squads, leading the Connacht team to gold and the Mayo team claim silver.
A brilliant achievement for Philip and a proud day for Claremorris AC.
In July Philip won the won gold at Athletics Ireland National Juvenile Championships in Tullamore.
