The reason Fair City won't air on RTE on Fridays in 2024

Fair City fans will have one less episode weekly on their television screens in 2024 after RTE confirmed they have cut one episode a week, from four to three, due to a range of cost-saving measures.

2024 SCHEDULE

From Thursday, January 4, RTE will air three Fair City episodes every seven days. The usual Friday evening episode will no longer be shown on the channel.

The three episodes will air at 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 8.30pm on Sundays.
