The Mayo LGFA footballers ensure senior status on Saturday afternoon by beating Leitrim in a relegation play-off battle.
The game was still on knife edge three quarters in before Mayo got motoring and avoided the drop to intermediate level.
The Mayo News spoke to Kathryn Sullivan, Sinead Walsh and then manager Liam McHale.
McHale stepped down as Mayo manager straight after the match, saying "It's time for someone else".
