CONFIRMED: Fixture details for Mayo's Dublin and Donegal duels
The Leinster champions and Ulster’s third-placed side will provide firm opposition for Diane O’Hora’s charges
Mayo’s path for the All-Ireland LGFA Senior Championship has become a lot clearer today, as the Green and Red have learned the dates and times for their group stage fixtures.
Those in this neck of the woods would have taken a great deal of confidence from their performances in the Connacht Final against Galway.
They will be hoping to take the momentum from that display into the race for the Brendan Martin Cup. However, they have been handed a tricky assignment on their first day out in Group Three.
Reigning All-Ireland Champions Dublin, fresh off their Leinster crown, will make their way West on Sunday, June 7, for a 1 pm throw-in.
Galwegian Shane Curley will be the referee on the day, while the game will also be broadcast LIVE by TG4.
The venue is yet to be announced.
Some 13 days later, on Saturday, June 20, it’s a trip to the hills for Diane O’Hora’s side, as they take on Donegal. That game is pencilled in for a 1 pm throw-in. Venue details as well as potential TV details will be announced in due course.
